A NEW YEAR, A NEW CHAPTER.

Dear Parents,

Assalamu alaikum,

Year-Start Letter 2026 – 27
I Take Charge & Grow!

I welcome you to the 37th Academic Year of Generation’s School. A warm welcome to all our new families who have joined the Generation’s community this year. Two weeks into the new academic year… our students are settling well into their routines, including Pre-nursery students at the North Campus and Grade III students at the South. We have also been blessed with cloudy and pleasant weather.

We are pleased to share another year of strong Cambridge O & A Levels results. Alhamdulillah, our students have once again achieved outstanding results, with this year’s results being the best to date! We congratulate our students, teachers and parents on this wonderful achievement and pray that Allah SWT grants our children continued success.

It was heartening to meet you at the Orientation Meetings earlier this month. We explored an important insight from neuroscience… how a child’s brain is wired and rewired through everyday experiences. Every routine, relationship, challenge and conversation shapes how children think and behave. Many parents shared positive feedback about the learning and insights from these sessions.

  • Our annual theme this year is “I Take Charge & Grow!” I take responsibility for my choices! I take responsibility for my actions! I keep growing and I become a lighthouse – shining in the darkness and helping others find their way.
  • 185 Days. Every Day Counts – Our target this year is to achieve 185 student working days for learning. Rain, heat, traffic and road closures may present challenges, but each day at School matters. Where necessary, Contingency Saturdays will be used to make up for lost learning days. As parents, let us ask ourselves: What are we modelling for our children when we treat a school closure or absence casually? Who loses when a learning day is lost? If there is a genuine safety concern, please decide accordingly.
  • Your presence, not perfection, is what your child needs. Stay involved in your child’s learning, coach them to make smarter choices and support them through challenges rather than solving every problem for them. Create routines that help them learn well: timely drop-offs and pick-ups, adequate sleep and organised mornings all matter. Please stay connected with the School by attending Parent- Teacher Meetings and other relevant school engagements regularly.
  • Students are setting their goals at School. Talk to them about these goals, how they can take charge of their own growth, and support them in achieving them.
  • Build Consistent Study Habits. Help your child develop a regular study routine at home, with a designated, quiet space for study. Try not to miss a single day.
  • Our children learn from what they see. As parents, let us model the respect we expect from them… towards teachers, staff, other children and other parents. Labelling, judging or disrespecting others, physically or on WhatsApp groups, is not acceptable. Please use the appropriate school channels to raise any concerns.

Closing Thoughts

The 185 days ahead offer countless opportunities for our children to learn, grow and take charge of themselves.

May Allah (SWT) grant our children beneficial knowledge, strong character, sound health and steadfast Iman. May He bless Pakistan, the Muslim Ummah and humanity with peace, and guide all our efforts towards goodness. Ameen.

جوانوں کو مری آہِ سحر دے

میرا نورِ بصیرت عام کر دے

خدایا! آرزو میری یہی ہے

Thank you for your continued support and trust.

Jazakallah al khayr,
