Guidelines for Students and Parents

Despite the challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic, Generation’s School remains committed to Quality Education. For us, that has always meant Academic Excellence, based on Values, leading to Leadership Qualities.

The Senior section was able to effectively engage students in online teaching & learning activities throughout the months of March and April, including online assessments and feedback. Along with academics, cross-curricular and counselling events were also conducted to cater to students’ holistic needs. Our staff have exhibited outstanding commitment to ensure continuity in academic excellence and progress of our students, alhamdulillah.

Going forward, the Senior section will resume their online teaching & learning activities from Wednesday, June 17, insha’allah.

For Grade X, teachers will upload video lessons, related resources, assignments and quizzes onto the relevant groups in Google Classrooms, as done previously.

For grades XI, A1 and A2, online activities – academic, cross-curricular and counselling will be posted on Google Classroom Assembly groups.

Our staff has prepared extensively to bring this commitment to distance learning for our students, right from Playgroup to the A Levels. It is important that the following guidelines are observed.

1. Hardware & Connectivity: Students and parents need to ensure that students have access to a computer, tablet or smartphone with a reliable internet connection.

2. Regularity & Consistency: Students must be regular and consistent, and parents are to please ensure that students are adequately prepared for their school day. Having a routine is of utmost importance not only for learning, but also for students’ broader well-being. Students will be required to attend classes regularly and engage responsibly with the content, complete assignments and quizzes as per the instructions and deadlines given by their teachers.

3. Scheduling: A schedule of daily classes will be shared by June 15. All students must attend the online classes according to the schedule. The first formal classes are scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, insha’allah. Please ensure 0300.0220640 is saved as a contact on your devices to receive timely updates.

Queries & Troubleshooting: In case of any queries, please feel free to message via WhatsApp message on the “Online Learning Helpdesk” at 0300.0220632.

We hope and pray that students, teachers and parents all benefit from these efforts, and we look forward to your continued support and cooperation towards our students’ learning and success, insha’allah.

Happy learning!
