FURTHER UPDATE: Please read the full article here.
As the new academic session approaches, Generation’s School is excited to share our comprehensive guide, “Getting Ready for the Academic Session 2024-25.” This guide is designed to help parents and students navigate the start of the school year with ease and confidence. Here are the key highlights:
First Day of School
Each grade has a specific start date to ensure a smooth transition. The school reopening dates will be announced soon. Parents are encouraged to regularly visit our school website and Facebook page for the latest updates. Save our official WhatsApp number (0300 0220 0640) to receive timely notifications.
Orientation Meetings
Orientation meetings are essential for establishing a strong connection between the school and families. Both parents should attend these sessions. Detailed timings will be sent via SMS and WhatsApp.
Reporting Campus & Section
Students promoted to the next grade level may need to report to different campuses:
- Grade II (North Campus) to Grade III (Junior Section, South Campus)
- Grade VI (Junior Section, South Campus) to Grade VII (Middle Section, South Campus)
- Grade IX (Middle Section, South Campus) to Grade X (Senior Section, South Campus)
Students can check their new grade sections through Google Classroom.
SmartCards
All new admissions will receive their Student SmartCard at their respective campuses. Students must wear their SmartCards daily. If forgotten, an interim card will be issued after verification, which can be time-consuming. Regular attendance and punctuality are crucial for student development.
Books, Stationery, & Uniform
- Books and Stationery: Purchase Part A items from Tariq Book Town. Part B items will be provided in classrooms and billed accordingly.
- Uniforms: Ensure your child arrives in proper uniform from the first day. Uniforms are available online and in-store from Ghani’s Uniform and Youniform.
Transport
United Transport Services (UTS) is the recommended provider. Parents should register their children early to avoid inconvenience. Contact UTS representatives for concerns or complaints.
