On the occasion of commemorating Pakistan’s 70 years of independence, Dr. Ghazala Siddiqui, Founding Principal, and CEO of Generation’s School, emphasized that the Constitution of Pakistan states clearly that Pakistan was created for the Muslims to practice the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah in an independent state.
While addressing the students, Dr. Ghazala said we must be proud of our roots, our country and ourselves, and make an effort to study and understand the Qur’an and Sunnah, as well as the Constitution of Pakistan, to lead a fulfilling life. She said, “We will insha’allah make Pakistan a happy place to live in, through our service to the nation”. Highlighting the annual school theme, ‘Abdullah the Aspirer’, she encouraged the students to abide as a servant of Allah SWT, and serve the community whenever possible. She said that these aspirations will grow into powerful impacts, from the simplest of deeds such as smiling, saying salaam and being positive, to keeping our hearts and attributes pure. She advised the students to strive to keep our surroundings clean by maintaining a ‘Litter Free Generation’s’.
Dr. Ghazala concluded with du’aa to bless Pakistan and keep our spirits, determination, and efforts high and strong to be able to make a real difference. She said that we must also make du’aa for the Quaid-e-Azam, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal, and our inspiring forefathers, who have left a legacy of devoted service to the country and to the ideology of our great nation Pakistan.
